The Raceday Stewards requested a report from A.P.O'Brien, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Sugar Island, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Chris Armstrong, Authorised Representative for the trainer concerned, stated that their charge did not handle the track or the ground at Newmarket on 10 October 2025. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

S. Foley, rider of Greek Flower, trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right under pressure.

R. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Ardeur (GB), trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount reared up in the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards fined Donal Kinsella, trainer €65 for fitting a tongue strap to Mullacurry Maid which had not been declared and ordered it’s removal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Eroico, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Edge Of Seventeen, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Maeve Brennan, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount over stepped just before the turn in.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mont St Michel, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Tilani, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Zabeir, trained by Donal Kinsella, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around off the bridle.

P. McGettigan, rider of Roderick (GB), trained by P. Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped awkwardly.

The Raceday Stewards considered the withdrawals at Gowran Park on 20 October 2025, of Meave Brennan, trained by J. S. Bolger and Launch Time, trained by Cian Hughes, citing a change of going and who both run today on Heavy, Soft to heavy in places. Having considered the matter, including the change in the official going description today, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
